A family house, not a chain
Benjamin built his hotel from Malagasy hardwood around a garden where he gathered plants from all over Madagascar. Only a handful of bungalows and rooms, and a team that knows every guest by name.
Ambatoloaka is the liveliest village on Nosy Be: the beach, restaurants, dive centres and boat trips are a few minutes’ walk away. The hotel sits back at the end of a lane, which keeps it quiet.

How does booking work?
Send the form with your dates. We reply by email with availability, price and how to confirm.
Is there a minimum stay?
Yes, 3 nights minimum. Each room sleeps 2; an extra bed is available for €5 per night.
Are the rooms air-conditioned?
Both rooms, on the ground floor (€40) and upstairs (€45), are air-conditioned. The bungalow and the suite (€35) are ventilated through the roof and have a fan.
Is it noisy at night?
The garden is quiet, but Ambatoloaka comes alive at night: at weekends you can hear music from the bars in the distance. If you are a light sleeper, tell us and we will offer the most sheltered room.
What about power cuts?
Power cuts are common on Nosy Be. The hotel has solar panels and a generator to keep lights and fans running.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is extra and served every morning on the veranda. The price is given in our reply to your request.
Do you organise excursions?
Yes. The team books boat trips, diving and island tours with trusted operators and advises you depending on the season.
